CITIZEN,the home of adverts

On 2 October two inevitable things happened to me.One I would travel for 3 hours from home to upcountry,so that meant my access to the internet plus electricity was kaput.Two my last resort which was my phone just fell and the phone screen shuttered into pieces and I knew this was No bueno-Not good at all

I didn't have the $25 at the moment which the phone technician was asking for so that meant I was phone less.How would I survive considering a phone right now is part of the basic needs.You should have it to keep track of trending topics and, for entertainment.Therefore after arriving at Nanyuki the only thing left for entertainment was a solar television from M-kopa.

Since the internent access being provided to literally every home with free installation and affordable subscription fee we have to attest a fact.Television viewship more so onto local channels went down.For instance why should I watch a crappy content from a local show whereas a smart TV comes with application such as YouTube and Netflix installed in them I hardly recalled the last time I had watched any local television show in 2 years,leave alone News but here I was now it was my only source of entertainment and to get rid of the monotony I decided to follow up on my childhood shows such as Tahidi high and the forth.

Spending more time at the television and watching every ad that came by led me to take a pen and paper and within no time I would jolt down the ads that came up and group them by industry at the same time track the number of times the campaign was brought up.Atlast I had found a more engaging way to waste my time.

There seemed to be a very huge difference in ads shown on the channels I was watching. France24 was my go to channel at the moment considering it was at a time where Americans were voting for their president and so I would spend quite some time there.It was funny since the channel rarely showcased adverts the one ans only campaign that they would run was France airline which led me thinking..
